Should I stay or should I leave him?
I just found a letter in my fiance's golf bag from the home wrecker he was cheating on me with. At this point I have to believe what he says and I am trying not to cry. Apparently its been going on for at least 6 months if what he is telling me is the truth. I have 2 boys (Not his, but is a better father to them than their real dads) and we have 2 dogs and 2 cats together.
It is a longer story than this. Bot I just need some opinions. He is still at work, as far as I can tell, and I need to get my mind wrapped around this. I don't hate him. I love him. I for the record, have not cheated on him.
If you accept the fact that he's cheated and just forgive him he'll think it's okay to cheat when ever he wants because you will just take it.
If you love him and don't want to throw your marriage away ( which it's clear already that you won't be leaving him) you need to make him prove to you that he loves you enough to not cheat again. You can do this through marriage counseling or your church. Start a open cell phone policy that allows either of your to answer or check messages on the other person's phone. I'd also stop having sex with him until you are sure that he will remain faithful. There are a lot of STDs out there and your body is a treasure that you have chosen to share with him and he doesn't seem to appreciate it. So stop sharing it until he does appreciate it.
