3 woods in the bag. 1 wood (Driver) and what other 2 woods should I carry?
OK. I currently own 3 woods with my golf set. I have my driver which is well past its use by date, it has the smallest head I have ever seen and my 3 and 4 woods are made of wood (laminated maple)
So when I upgrade, I will probobly go on eBay or go to a pawn shop to get 2nd hand, but with a Driver, what other 2 fairway woods should I get.
Im nothing special, just a regular 15 year old who plays golf sometimes.
People tell me a 3 and a 5 wood and thats what I think as well but what are the best 2 other woods to buy? And what do you have in your bag regarding Woods
When I say woods, I do mean a fairway wood with a metal head
As a young man who plays sometimes you want to get the easiest to hit.
Buy any 460cc driver preferable a 10.5 degree loft to help you get it airborne and depending on your swing speed a regular shaft for medium tempo or stiff for a fast swing.
Then look at rescue/hybrid clubs they are the new fairway woods and are really easy to hit.you should get 2 of them at different lofts to bridge the gap between your 10.5 degree driver and your 3 iron( maybe a 15 degree and an 18 degree).
Try eBay for these as they can be quite cheap if your not that fussy about names and brands.
