How to clean motor oil stains from a nylon golf bag?
A friend gave me her Golf Clubs with bag after she quit. Now she's decided to start playing again and wants her set back. I don't have a problem with returning the set but because I thought it was a used gift, I didn't take as good care of it as I would have if I'd known it was a loan. I don't want to return it when it's stained and smudged with grease and oil. It's a heavy nylon Bag Purple and hot pink. I'm concerned the motor oil stains will "spread" if I apply cleaner to them. If I can't clean it myself, is there a service that can professionally clean the bag?
use an automotive degreaser to remove the oil residue and then use oxyclean to remove the stain
